Tim grew up in a small east Tennessee town where everyone new each other and there was only two traffic lights. It was nestled in the beautiful Sequatchie Valley surrounded by mountains and beautiful scenery. His love of the outdoors started when he was a young boy tromping through the woods to hunt rabbits and squirrels with this dogs - often staying in the woods for hours. His interest in all of the different trees in the area started when he was assigned a project in 4th grade to identify trees based on their leaves. Since that time, his love and interest for all of the beautiful trees in the area continues to grow with his hobby for woodworking. Growing up, his dad had made several items around the house. One that always stood out to him was the breakfast table and book shelves he built in the kitchen with simple hand tools. This where his interest of woodworking first started.
